We are looking for wonderful people from our community to join us in celebrating the season with beautifully build Gingerbread houses to support the Kamloops YMCA Women’s Shelter.Uptown Chefs will be hosting a Gingerbread House Competition beginning December 1 and ending December 24, 2018.Join us in the lobby of the Coast Hotel and Conference Centre and walk through all of the wonderful displays made by our contestants.All viewers are encouraged to bring a Christmas gift in to be donated to the families at the YMCA Women’s Shelter.Place your vote during the month of December!● There will be five categories: toddlers (5 and under), Elementary School, High School, Individual and Professional**PRIZES WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY ON THE FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE**● Uptown Chefs will donate $10 from every gingerbread house entered in the competition to the YMCA Women’s Shelter to go towards holiday gifts for those less fortunate● Each person from the community that comes to view the gingerbread houses and vote will receive a complimentary hot chocolate and house baked cookie at ROMEOs Kitchen + SpiritsTo enter a gingerbread house in our competition, please fill out our registration form registration form:For any questions, concerns, or if you’d like to sponor a prize for this event, please contact: Nicole St. Godard 250.682.0424 or email n.stgodard@coasthotels.com
